Numerical simulation of groundwater for multi-layer aquifer system in Hami Basin

  • A coupled mathematical model of groundwater in which the elastic yield of aquitard is considered in Hami basin is presented for its multi-layer structural groundwater system.The result of numerical simulation indicates that the model is more precise and conforming to the real hydrogeological condition,comparing with omitting the action of the aquitard’s elastic yield.The model provides a practical and reliable numerical method for the quantitative evaluation of multi layer leaky aquifer system.
