  • Based on the heterogeneity of rock material,rock specimens of the same diameter but of different lengths were carried out to simulate numerically under uniaxial compression by Rock Failure Process Analysis(RFPA2D) code,and numerical simulation results reached good agreements with experimental results.The length effect of rock strength results in the friction effect of end faces,not the heterogeneity of rock material.
