Small fault is an important factor resulting in geological disaster of coal mine accidents, fine detection and accurate prediction are important for concealed small fault. Based on the current construction of a large number of across-layers gas drainage boreholes, using Matlab numerical calculation and graphic processing function, through the calculation of 3-coordinate of control points in coal roof/floor by programming, drawing high precision contour, coal isopach map and three-dimensional graph, the location, occurrence and nature of small concealed faults in seam were quantitatively predicted. The calculation of mine model verified the efficiency and feasibility to predict small concealed faults by using gas drainage borehole.
