  • This paper uses the high energy dynamic compaction with energy of 8 000 kN·m for a project of the high-filled foundation. The reinforcement effect of filled foundations strengthening with the high energy dynamic compaction method of energy 8 000 kN·m is evaluated through the static cone penetration test, dynamic cone penetration test, well excavation and plate loading test. The effective reinforcement depth of this dynamic compaction construction is improved. Based on the measured value of the effective reinforcement depth of dynamic compaction, the correction coefficient 0.0353 is putted forward according to Menard formula. The research results will provide certain reference value for the similar projects.
