Application of ground penetrating radar in the inspection of highroad tunnel lining

This article analyzed and summarized the familiar issues of tunnel lining as well as the characteristic of the disadvantage in radar image,then compared the result of inspection with the actual general geologic features.It concluded that ground penetrating radar could implement continuous scan on tunnel lining,and gained visual and direct images of inspection.Making use of ground penetrating radar in the inspection of highroad tunnel lining is nondestructive,quick,extensive accurate etc.
