Abstract
In ground-penetrating radar profile, the image of subsurface structure is distorted and unfocused due to diffractions.According to the comparability propagation between the electromagnetic wave and the elastic body wave, the author apply the migration algorithms of the seismic data into the radar data processing, that is to say the reverse-time migration based on the scalar wave equation. The result of the migration reveals that the diffraction wave goes back to the original place and the reflector continuity is enhanced. It provides a possibility to improve the resolution of geological interpretation.
