  • Due to the uncertainly of loess slope failure (failure probability) and the special situation of slope in coal mining area, the stability of loess slope is often ignored and all of these reasons give rise to the slope accident occasionally. In order to explore the inherent mechanism of nature risk in slope, 40 loess slopes in coal mining area were studied by two-parameter statistical analysis. Firstly, slopes were divided into four stratum structure models according to the combined characteristics of geotechnical structure; Secondly, the slope parameters (slope height, slope ratio) and slope stability (stability factor) in various structural models were analyzed by establishing a limit equation about natural loess slope control in coal mining area; Finally, based on engineering practice and research results, control measures were put forward, which can provide reference for the design of prevention and control of loess slope in coal mining area.
