  • Refraction static technology has good effect on statics correction, but it is difficult to get preferable effect in the complex region with rolling suface and dramatic velocity changes in vertical and horizontal direction. A forward model with large horizontal velocity change and bared bedrock was built and computed in this paper to analyze the characteristics and application conditions of tomographic static correction. The key problems of tomographic statics we should pay attention to were pointed out. The results showed that tomographic static correction method was more suitable for coalbed methane seismic data processing of areas with complex surface, which has significant meaning for improving precision of coalbed methane seismic exploration.
