Application of logging constrained inversion technology in prediction of magmatic rock distribution in coal mines

  • The technology of logging constrained inversion was used for lithology prediction and interpretation in the first mining district of Wolonghu coal mine.The theory of logging constrained inversion was expatiated and the logging data was treated and analyzed.The seismic wavelet was analyzed and extracted from the data, and the iterated inversion operations were progressed.Based on the synthetic geological analysis of the first mining district, the distribution information for magmatic rocks and thin layers in coal-bearing series was forecasted.The result indicates that this method can improve the resolution of seismic data effectively and interpret some geological phenomena which can't be recognized in conventional seismic section, and provide reliable information for magmatic rock distribution.
