  • The measurement of the drilling inclination is the key of the system success-fail in the VDS (vertical drilling system) controlled by microcomputer. This paper presents using the gravity accelerometer in the measurement of the drilling inclination. The structure and axiom of the gravity accelerometer are introduced in detail, and then we construct the mathematic model of the measurement of the inclination and derive the calculation formulas.
