  • Four main aquifers of Wanbei Mining Area, such as the fourth aquifer of the Quarternary, the coal aquifer, the Taiyuan limestone aquifer and the Ordovician limestone aquifer, are analyzed by systemic clustering with the indexes of Ca2+、Mg2+、K++Na+、Cl-、SO42-、CO32-、HCO3-、pH and TDS.From the clustering result, the water samples representing the characteristics of every aquifer are picked and then are analyzed by stepwise distinguishing. Therefore,a distinguishing model is established by the two representative elements of SO42- and TDS,which has a good effect on distinguishing sources of inrush-water of Wanbei Mining Area.
