Technology of identifying deformed soft coal using well log:An approach to the regional prediction of coal and gas outburst in coal mine

Based on the difference between hard coal and deformed soft coal on physical characteristics,analyzing the response that deformed soft coal seam is on well log.According to shape-characters of coal seam section on well log,this paper compared the initial results of identifying deformed soft coal using well log in uncovered district with those observed on coal face of tunnel adjacent to the drill hole,and then formed the technology that identifying deformed soft coal using well log.As well as the related information of deformed soft coal in study area was got by this technology;dangerous districts of coal and gas outburst were forecasted in study area.
