Status quo and trend of hydro-geologic surveying and environmental geology evaluation for coal mines in China

The paper described each giant coal basins in China,especially dealing with the status quo and problems existing in hydro-geologic surveying and environmental geologic evaluation for coal mines included in first state's program.In addition,the development trend of professional research is also described.It is indicated that water shortage in western and flooding damage in eastern formalizing our country's two theme in hydrogeology and environmental geology.In new period,the work for coalfield-hydrogeology and environment geologic evaluation is still need to strengthen.
