Laboratory test on tensile strength of coal piece by sleeve fracturing technique

The authors have carried out tensile strength test of coal piece by sleeve fracturing technique. The basic principle, experimenting equipment and experimenting step of sleeve fracturing are systematically introduced,and some results obtained from sleeve fracturing test are analyzed. It provides a new path for the measurement of the tensile strength of coal seam.
