The research is focused on small scale structures in working face through theory analyzing and practice studying.The small scale structures appeared in working face cause the level or altitude interval of two laneway midlines change.This change may be showed on graph of level or altitude interval.The graph inflexion is the small structure's starting or ending.Therefore,we can forecast the occurence and character of small scale structures in working face according to the graph's convex or concave.
