CONCENTRATION LAW OF THE ACCOMPANY ELEMENT-GERMANIUM IN THE BROWN COAL OF WESTERN YUNNAN PROVINCE AND ITS COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION

This paper discuss concentration law of germanium and its evaluating methods, recovery and effective utilization. There are only several brown coal areas where abundant germanium is contained among 122 brown coal basins in western Yunnan, while these areas locate only is the western side of the Lanchan river where granite exposes widely, therefore the information of coal mine areas rich in germanium needs a special geochemical environment. The mesh in the zone rich in germanium in a valuable mine area should not be smaller than 100m, while the further control will be realized in the mining process and more samples taked. After we have fully utilizated the heiting power and again recovered the germanium from the smoke and the ashes, thus the value of the germanium in a ton of coal is much higher than that of coal itself.
