Testing study on the internality controlling factors of coal matrix shrinkage ability

Based on experiments on coal matrix shrinkage and triaxial compression, the internality controlling factors of coal matrix shrinkage are discussed. It is showed that coal matrix shrinkage ability is obviously controlled by its mechanics properties. The shrinkage quantity tends to become low in exponent with the rise of its mechanics parameters. At last the coupling mechanism is analyzed.
