THE PETROGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS OF DESMOCOLLINITE IN JURASSIC COALS IN XINJIANG AND THE HYDROCARBON-GENERATING NATURE

Applying the theories of organic petrology and organic geochemistry,the petrographic characteristics of desmocollinite in Jurassic coals in North China and the hydrocarbon-generating nature are studied in detail.The research results indicate that the desmocollinite can be divided into three subtypes according to the genesis and hydrocarbon-generating nature.The significance of desmocollinites of different subtypes in the generation and thermal evolution regularity of coal derived hydrocarbon and discussed.
