Impact of different extracting method on distribution of PAHs in raw coal

The samples collected from the fresh raw coals in Huaibei coalfield were extracted by Soxhlet extracting method and ultrasonic-assisted extraction method respectively.The extracted liquids were determined by GC-MS.And the concentrations of PAHs attented by USEPA were analyzed.The impact on the concentration and distribution of PAHs extracted by different extracting methods from raw coal were studied.The study results indicated that the ability of Soxhlet extraction method to extract PAHs from raw coal is better than that of ultrasonic extraction method under the experimental condition suggested in this paper.
