  • In order to predict gas outburst accurately, mathematical geology model of coal and gas outburst was set up by the second theory of quantification, and which was applied and validated in Zhongmacun Mine of Jiaozuo Mining Group Company. The results show that distribution of coal and gas outburst is mainly controlled by geology conditions, that the second theory of quantification can set up mathematical geology model of coal and gas outburst in virtue of some geology variables, and that the model can be used to predict gas outburst. Mathematical geology model of coal and gas outburst can improve the veracity and reliability of prediction of gas outburst and offer technology basis for scientific management of mines.
