ON CLASSIFICATION AND CORRELATION OF GENETIC STRATIGRAPHY UNIT——DISCUSSION WITH XIA WENCHEN ET AL

Some suggestions are put forward in this paper, which are about the classification, implication, correlation and the analytical procedure of the genetic stratigraphic units, deffering from ones in the paper "Thinking and methods of Genetic Stratigraphic analysis". The writer demonstrates the nature and usage of stratigraphic unit terminology and emphasises the importance of the principle of unbiquity of diachronism and lateral accumulation in the studies of stratigraphy.
