Surveying hydrogeological conditions of landslide with nuclear magnetic resonance method

  • The hydrogeological conditions of landslide, which affect very strongly the landslide's stability, are variable and difficult to assure.Using nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) method, the landslide's hydrogeological parameters such as the water content, the porosity and the permeability coefficient can be calculated;meanwhile the structure of landslide body, the depths of aquifer and sliding zone can be confirmed according to the variety of the water content. It is usefull to build the landslide model which accords with the fact, and to appraise the landslide's stability. In this paper, the theory and method of investigating the landslide hydrogeological conditions with NMR are introduced and presentes a succeed research case from using it to Zhaoshuling landslide.
