Comprehensive assessment method of geologic structural complexity based on GIS:A case study from Coalbed No.7 of Renlou coalmine,northern Anhui

  • Considering the actual situation,the tectonic setting,conditions of surrounding rocks,the changes of coal bed thickness and fault fractal number etc are selected as evaluation factors.The structural complexity of the Coalbed No.7 in Renlou coalmine is evaluated with the buffer,superposition,spatial analysis functions of GIS and adopting multiplayer fuzzy analytical procedure.The results show final corresponding relation to the fault density.
