A TRIAL STUDY ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE AQUIFERS IN THE BASE OF THE SOFT LAYERS IN THE NORTH ANHUI COALFIELD

The aquifers in the base of the soft layers is one of the main water sources for mining in a new mining area in the Norh Anhui coalfield.In order to estimate the potential hazard caused by the aquifers,it must study their hydrogeological characteristics.The study difined that the aquifers were rich in water but poor in permeability.therefore,drainage to lower water level may be adopted and will produce the hoped results.
