EVOLUTION AND M ECHANISM OF THE MACRINITE REFLECTANCE IN HIGH-RANK COALS

Based on the results of the systematical measurements, the evolved chracteristics of the macrinite reflectance of the high-rank coals,with 2. 0%- 10. 0% of vitrinite reflectance, was ascertained and the inversion of the coalification path was revealed. Further,the mechanism on the evolution was inquired into and it was considered that the chemical structure with non graphitizing carbon, the physical structure with developed micropores and strong tectonic stress occured during the coalification were resposible for the characteristics.
