Abstract
Using multivariable analysis method it is analyzed that the distribution regularities of S, Fe, As, Cd, Hg, Pb, Se, Ti and Zn in coal seams from Longlan Formation aged in Permian period in Anhui Province. And the correlations among these potentially hazardous elements are also analyzed. It can be obtained some useful information about the possible modes of occurrence of these elements in coal seams of the Longtan Formation as the follows thrash out made know:The element Pb predominately residents in galena in coal seams;Zn and Se in sphalerite; As, Hg and Sb may resident in secondary pyrite; according to the elemental geochemistry of Cd, it may exist in sphalerite, due to its contents in coal are too low to get exact analytical results, and the correlation between Zn and Cd was erased; the modes of occurrence of Ti in coal are very complicated. The study results present geochemical results and funded basis for the utilization as well as the environmental protection in mines, which producing Longlan Formation coals.southern Anhui Province.
