  • Trace interpolation plays an important role in seismic data processing.Spatial aliasing is a principal troublesome problem in seismic trace interpolation.Aiming to interpolation of severely aliased events,based on spectral feature analysis of a model data,an approach of trace interpolation in the Fourier transform domain is presented via constructing an interpolation operator by means of simple division.Dealiasing trace interpolation of vertical seismic profiling(VSP) data gets satisfactory result.Undemanding to solve linear system of equations,making use of FFT,the approach is simple and efficient.
