The property of glauconite and its facies-indicating significance in Longtan formation Nayong district, Guizhou Province

the paper describes the property of glauconite in Longtan formation, Nayong district,Guizhou province. It is found that glauconite forms mainly in tidally-influenced delta front facies and distributary channel in lower parts of tidally-influenced delta,Besides, the orign and facies-indicating significance are also discussed.
