Abstract
The mathematical model method is used to simulate the frequency dispersion and amplitude distribution for fifteen Jurassic coal seams in Datong coalfield. The partings with the thickness more than 0.2m have the influences on the frequency dispersion and amplitude distribution. In the asymmetric geological model, the biggest amplitude deviates from the centre of seam.
