ESTABLISHMENT OF PEAT SWAMP SYSTEM AND ITS COAL-FORMING MODEL

A large sum of phenomena of recent deposition and paleo-deposition suggested that the widely extended coal seams deposited on different systems.Between coal seams and underlying systems there are distinct interruptions.The depositional system had already been abandoned when coal was forming.A coal seam or a coal seam group constituted independent depositional system peat swamp system.The constitution and generation of peat swamp system are discussed in this paper.
