THE ENVIRONMENTAL HYDROGEOLOGICAL PROBLEM AND ITS CONTROL IN JUNGGHAR COAL MINING AREA

  • In Jungghar coal mining area the exploitable resource of groundwater is 16 760 t/d and the mining yield is 74 973 t/d.The long-term pumping will cause a series of environmental hydrogeological problems such as the migration of filled belt by mud and sand,as well as the deterioration of groundwater quality. Therefore,it is very important to rationally pump the resource of groundwater, develop new water supply sources, build up new water source regions, reduce the concentrative mining, establish regional sewage treatment system and avoid draining the sewage into subsurface.
