Analysis of field geological feature and engineering geological problem of sanitary landfill

Taking a waste sanitary landfill project in Xuzhou as the case,based on work product of the engineering geological investigation of the landfill,such engineering geological evaluation as regional crust stability,seismic effect are illustrated.The author has laid great stress on evaluating hydrogeological condition of the landfill.Meanwhile,the main engineering geological problems touched on the construction of municipal waste landfill are studied.The research result shows that deformation characteristics of the field and the stability of slope can meet the demand of landfill.There is no possibility of the rush of confined water.And the construction of landfill will have any blight effect on ground water of the site.In a word,the field studied is proved to be a feasible waste sanitary landfill site.
