OCCURRENCE FEATURES AND PROTECTING COAL OF THE RED-BED IN TENGXIAN COAL-FIELD

The analyses of relationship between denudation and paleotectionics show that folds have an influence on the Carboniferous and Permian coal-bearing formation had been occurrend after the deposition of these coal-bearing formation and before the deposition of old-bed. The order of fault-forming as following: First of all, fault group in nearly EW and NEE direction and controlled distribution of red-bed; and then, thrust fault group in NE direction and fold; fault group in NNE to nearly NS at the latest. Old red-bed protecting coal is also a marker of regional finding coal. Carboniferous and Permian coal-bearing formation were buried deep in negative tectoinics under new red-bed.
