  • Yaopo Formation is the important coal-bearing strata in Beijing area. It was Formed in the fluvial-lacustrine system under the stable tectonic setting. The shallow lacustrine delta deposits are main parts of Yaopo Formation. Coal accumulation is summarized as three kinds of model. The main coal beds were formed in the abandoned shallow lacustrine delta.
