Abstract

The sonde of an infrared borehole imaging tool has the out diameter of 28mm,which makes it easy to be put into a slim size borehole.The output image of the tool can be used for coal lithotypes identification and borehole surface observation.Fields test shows that KSY-1 tool can be used in coal mine for lithotypes identification and fracture observation.
