Basic characteristics and main controlling factors of coal mine water hazard in China

The basic development and occurrence regularities of coal mine water hazards in China were analyzed,and the characteristics as well as controlling factors of coal mine water hazards were also studied.The paper comprehensively analyzed the key technical problems of groundwater controlling,the types of coal mine water hazards and coal mine water safety requirements of mining enterprises. The inrush mechanisms of high pressure groundwater from floor of coal seam and gob areas,as well as related preventing technology are the study emphases.Based on research results the development tendency of coal mine water controlling and preventing technology and water safety insurance system are presented.
