Analysis of coal petrographic properties and controlling factor of coalbed gas resource in Hancheng coal mining area

Based on petrographic research on coal seam from Hancheng coal mining area, including macro-and microanalysis, vitrinite reflectance and fracture characteristics, the factors controlling the gas generation and storage are analyzed. Meanwhile the district containing potential coalbed gas resource is indicated.
