SPOROPOLLEN ASSEMBLAGES IN PEAT-LIGNITE OF BAOXIU BASIN,YUNNAN

Follow from the sporopollen analysis,the peat-lignite in Baoxiu Basin has been formed and accumulated from the middle Pliocene Epoch or early Pleistocene up to now.The forming and accumulating process of peat-lignite went through the palaeoclimatical changes which are alternate from hot to warm and cool,corresponding to the hot and humid Atlantic stage,the warm and humid and somewhat dry sub-Atlantic stage and the modern cool and humid mountainous climate.The vegetation are coniferous forest,broadleaf forest,coniferous-broadleaf mixed forest,deciduous-evergreen broadleaf forest and modern sparse shrub and luxuriant herb.
