Application of wavelet analysis and C₃ coherence cube to interpretation of small faults

Wavelet analysis is a better tool to do timefrequency analysis than Fourier analysis,and it has a very good time-frequency decomposition effect.The C₃ coherence cube is a new seismic attribute,which has higher underground structural resolution than normal amplitude cube.In this paper,by combining wavelet analysis with C₃ coherence cube,a good result is obtained in identifying small scale structural anomalies especially in small faults in coal mines.
