  • Fuxin coal field is one of important regions for coalbed methane development in our country, with the high gas content in coal seams and the predicted resources of 136.91×108m3. Based on the analysis of geological characteristics of Fuxin mining district and the study of geological factors which have influences on the generation, storage and migration of coalbed methane in each section, it is suggested that the Liujia-Wanhyingzi section is the best one for CBM development in this coal field.
