  • Wireless sensor networks(WSN) has broad application prospect in large monitoring area,such as coal fire and the water level monitoring,and the data transmission from the monitoring node to the center is a key.In order to solve the remote data transmission problem,the GPRS module is added to the base node.When the signal collected by sensors is transmitted to the base node,it is controlled by Micro Controller Unit(MCU) ATmege128 and transported to GPRS network through GPRS module SIM100,and at last it is sent to the computer end via Internet.The serial interface communication of MCU and the process of data transmission are detailed,some programs are given,and the system is tested further.As shown in the result,the data could be transmitted by this system in real time successfully.
