Discussion of the relationship between coal metamorphism and the Late Mesozoic basalt in Rujigou Area

Rujigou coalfield is famous for the output of anthracite coal produced from the Jurassic strata,where the metamorphism degree is the highest in the Mesozoic coal of Ningxia area.Here it is simply discussed that the characteristic of metamorphic coal in Rujigou coalfield and firstly confirm that the Late Mesozoic basalt developed in Gugutai area is the main and direct cause of coal metamorphism in Rujigou area.And it is also specified that the characteristic of the basalt,producing background and regional significance.
