  • Accurate stability classification of surrounding rock mass in tunnel is very important to tunnel engi-neering design and construction.A projection pursuit stability classification method of surrounding rock mass is proposed based on multiple influence factors.The method of revising the result of projection pursuit classification is argued by using factors which are difficult to be took into consideration.Application example shows that the re-sult of projection pursuit classification is reasonable according to the result of other methods.
