Simulation of internal force distribution of embedded double-row anti-slide piles using FEM

Abstract
The internal force distribution of double-row anti-slide piles is studied by using plane strain finite element method(FEM).The thrust force distribution between double-row anti-slide piles are calculated by using FEM.The bending moment and shearing force,as well as the influence of space variation between the double-row piles to internal force distribution are also analyzed,and some useful conclusions for design of double-row piles are gained.The finding of a study indicated that the applicability of FEM is clearly exhibited.
