Numerical simulation of Pinnate horizontal multilateral well for coalbed gas recovery

A mathematical model of Pinnate horizontal multilateral well for coalbed gas recovery is developed. Such factors as inhomogeneity and anisotropy of stratum, sensitivity of permeability to pressure and friction and acceleration loss in wellbore are considered in this model. The numerical simulation method is presented and used to simulate the gas rate and water rate with one theory model and one field model, which shows the validity of the model and algorithm.
