  • Based on the theory of set pair analysis(SPA) and theory of variable fuzzy set(VFS),a model for the evaluation of building damage induced by mining is discussed in this paper.A new method used to construct rela-tive difference degree is investigated. The results from the application to practical example and comparisons with other methods are fairly good and conform to the reality of samples. And they also show that the proposed method used to assess the building damages is capable of simplifying the evaluated procedure and improving the reliability of results.
