Abstract
Based on the reflect light and fluorescence analyses under microscope,it is considered that a lot of hydrocarbon-generating macerals exist in Jurassic coal measures of Junggar basin. The characteristics of hydrocarbon generation are correlated closely with the quantities of hydrocarbon-generating macerals. The main organic matter type in Jurassic coal is type Ⅱ2,and some is type Ⅱ1.However,those in dark mudstone are mostly type Ⅲ or type Ⅱ2.The maturity research show that the Jurassic coal have reached of exceeded the "oil window" and generated a large number of liquid hydrocarbon.
