  • Based on the relation of natural resistivity with stress and strain of coal and rock mass, and the factors that affect the physical parameter of rock resistivity, the process and mechanically physical substance that bulk strain cause the change 01 resistivity of the rock mass and coal seam in roof under the high strain is discussed. The author analyzes the basis of destabilization(burst or breakage) that is caused by the stress. At the same time, the author also studies the observing technology of coal (rock) mass resistivity. Thus, the author proposes the feasibility and the main study direction of applying this technology.
