  • Firstly, we review several general methods of two-dimensional magnetotelluric inversion in the international such as OCCAM, RRI and REBOCC from the inverse equation, then compare the objective functions and solving methods. And we compare the inverse results of OCCAM, RRI and REBOCC through two synthetic models. Numerical experiments show that REBOCC is a fast inverse method, which will provide a new and fast approach for the processing of electrical exploration data. However, when using RRI and REBOCC, it should be concerned that the grid will affect the result.
