APPLICATION OF REMOTE SENSING FOR EVALUATION OF CRUST STABILITY IN ZOUCHENG AREA

According to image characteristics of the lineaments in Zoucheng City,the lineament information was extracted using some computer processing methods.The interpretation revealed five group lineaments with different strike.And their interaction relationship was explored.Along with the earthquake data of Zoucheng City,the earth crust stability of the area was evaluated.Investigation shows that near NS and WN lineament are the main earthquake controlling tectonics.Some area with poor earth crust stability is mapped and therefore providing important information for city planning.
